Road to the JUNOS

The Juno Awards are returning to Halifax in March 2024, and to kick off Juno season CBC Music presents Road to the Junos, a five-night concert series featuring some of the best talent from the Maritimes.

Aquakultre

Aquakultre is the artistic voice of Lance Sampson, a versatile singer, rapper, composer and storyteller who came up in Halifax’s Uniacke Square. He won CBC’s 2018 Searchlight competition with the second song he ever wrote, and both of his subsequent solo full-length albums have been longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize, along with numerous East Coast Music Award nominations and wins.

Jah’Mila

Jah’Mila is a reggae singer from Kingston, Jamaica, now based in Atlantic Canada. With a deep-rooted love for traditional roots reggae, her music blends the vibrant spirit of Jamaican roots music with elements of jazz and modern soul.
